St Piran's Day at Ballarat in 2011



St Piran’s Day celebrations was held in Ballarat, on Saturday 5th March 2011.

A Flag Raising Ceremony will take place at Victoria Square, (corner of Sturt and Armstrong Streets) in the plantation, near the Town Hall, at 10.30 am.

The speaker was Dr Mark Harris, a councillor from the City of Ballarat and of Cornish extraction.

A wreath will be laid at the Gold Monument, (corner Sturt and Albert Streets) after the Flag Raising Ceremony at Victoria Square.

A light luncheon was served at St Cuthbert’s Uniting Church Hall, corner of Sturt and Elliott Streets following the official activities.
