CORNISH PIONEERS

OF BALLARAT

REPRINT OF VOLUMES 1 & 2 into One

The book is a compilations of talks given to the Ballarat Branch of the Cornish Association of Victoria Inc by Lillian Dell & Joy Menhennet, Honorary Historians.

This volume is a very comprehensive books on the Cornish Pioneers who came to Ballarat. Not only as miners, but as stonemasons, coach builders, engineers, blacksmiths, metallurgists, chemists, boot and shoe makers, school teachers, chaplains, engine drivers and went on to become mine managers as well as sharebrokers, architects, councilors and mayors of Ballarat and Sebastopol.  They were mostly Wesleyan and were preachers and lay preachers in many Ballarat Churches.
Cost:  $22.00 per copy plus postage and handling cost dependent on destination

Our Heritage Our Treasure is a compilation of the family histories of the ancestors of members of the Ballarat branch of the Cornish Association of Victoria. It was compiled by Joy Menhennet to celebrate the 20th year of the Association in Ballarat, 1988 to 2008.
